Longboy Media is a Melbourne-based digital marketing agency specialising in content creation and social media management. As a young and fast-growing business, they approached me for a full rebrand that would better reflect their vibrant personality and creative approach. The goal was to craft an identity that felt distinctly modern, approachable, and full of energy, something that would resonate with their youthful team and target audience alike.

We leaned into the playful nature of the name ‘Longboy’, using it as a springboard for a visual identity that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The designs are light, fun, and full of character. Think bold colour choices, rounded typography, and quirky graphic elements that inject a sense of humour and charm. A key concept that ran throughout the rebrand was the idea of building blocks, symbolising growth, creativity, and progression. This idea is reflected not only in the modular shapes and patterns used across the design, but also in the logo itself. We illustrated characters that evolve from young to older, with each stage of development represented by subtle changes in the form, reinforcing the brand’s journey of growth and adaptability.

This fresh new look is designed to stand out in a crowded digital landscape while staying true to the values at the core of the business: authenticity, creativity, and a genuine love for what they do. The result is a brand that not only feels current, but confidently youthful.
